AI-generated parameters are based on MediaPipe face recognition technology and serve as an excellent starting point. However, since everyone has different aesthetic preferences, we recommend fine-tuning in-game based on actual results. Details like eyes, nose, and lips may require manual adjustment for optimal results.

Why doesn't the generated character look exactly like the photo?

MediaPipe is an AI model trained on real human photos that extracts facial feature proportions. However, there are differences between in-game 3D models and real photos, plus factors like lighting and angles affect the final result. Use the generated parameters as a foundation, then fine-tune in-game.

Can I use game screenshots or anime images?

Not recommended. MediaPipe is optimized for real human photos. Recognition accuracy drops significantly for game screenshots, cartoon images, or anime characters. Use front-facing real human photos for best results. For replicating game characters, manual parameter adjustment is recommended.

Are parameters compatible with CN and Global versions?

Yes! The 309 generated parameters are fully compatible with both the Chinese version (燕云十六声) and Global version (Where Winds Meet). The parameter structure is identical and can be used directly in any game version. For preset code conversion, use our Code Converter tool.

How do I import these parameters into the game?

In the game's character customization interface, you can manually adjust each parameter or use the exported JSON file. We recommend copying key parameters first (face shape, eyes, nose, lips main values) and adjusting them one by one in-game. All 309 parameters can be exported as JSON for saving.

Will my photos be uploaded to a server?

No! All processing is done locally in your browser using MediaPipe's WebAssembly version. Photos never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy. You can even use it offline (after the first load).

Does it support PS5 and Steam versions?

Yes! The generated parameters work on all platform versions, including PC (Steam), PS5, and mobile. The parameter system is unified across all platforms - simply enter the parameter values manually in your platform's customization interface.

Why does the first load take a few seconds?

On first use, your browser needs to download the MediaPipe AI model files (about 10MB). Once downloaded, they're automatically cached for instant future use. This is a one-time wait - subsequent uses only take 2-5 seconds to generate parameters.
