Overview

At WWM Face Code, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our tools.

TL;DR - Your Privacy is Protected

We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or photos. All processing happens locally in your browser.

Data Collection

What We DON'T Collect

  • Photos: Your uploaded photos never leave your device. AI processing happens entirely in your browser using WebAssembly.
  • Face Data: Facial landmarks and parameters are computed locally and are never transmitted to our servers.
  • Personal Information: We don't require accounts, emails, or any personal information to use our tools.
  • Preset Codes: Character customization codes are processed locally and not stored on our servers.

What We DO Collect

  • Anonymous Analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how many people use our tools and which features are most popular. This data is completely anonymous and cannot be traced back to individuals.
  • Error Logs: If the application encounters an error, we may collect anonymous error information to help us fix bugs. These logs don't contain any personal data.

Browser Storage

Our tools use your browser's local storage to cache AI models and improve performance. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party technologies:

  • MediaPipe (Google): Face detection AI runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly. No data is sent to Google.
  • Vercel: Our hosting provider. They may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, user agents) as part of their service.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies only for essential functionality (like remembering your language preference). We don't use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to request, delete, or export. You're in complete control:

  • Clear your browser cache to remove stored AI models
  • Use private/incognito mode for extra privacy
  • Disable JavaScript to prevent any client-side processing (though this will break functionality)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
